Just thinking of some slang/quotes you used to hear of decades past... here are some that come to mind in my head now... anyone have anymore? 1950s - "keen", "swell", "most"? 1960s - "groovy" (late 60s), 1970s - "groovy" (early-mid 70s), "cool", "buzzing", "fab", "like", "right on", "heavy"?? 1980s - "dude", "totally", "gag me with a spoon", "rad", "bodacious", "dweeb", "wicked", "airhead", "ace", "chill pill", "dag", "gnarley", "gross me out", "no doy", "no way", "warped" and "wheres the beef"? , etc (you can google 80s slang and get alot of these, but these are ones I remember). 1990s - "trippin", "whatever", "sup", etc.

Thought we could have some fun and at the same time exercise the ole brain a bit. The rules are simple: 1. I'll start by typing in a song's name and who sings it. 2. Next person types in another song name using ONE WORD out of the previous song and who sings it. Hey... if you don't know who sings it, that's okay! It's all in fun!

Legends and folklore tales may be completely unexplained. Everyone loves to let imaginations run wild. Here post spooky stories from years past. They may not be the version you've heard, but that's what makes it fun. With the help of our readers, we'll get many variations, some relating to ghosts, the supernatural, and hoaxes. These legends are not suitable for young children or the faint of heart. If you've got nerves of steel, proceed with caution...

Look back fondly to the years when your children played T-ball and splashed around in an inflated, flimsy, plastic pool. The nostalgic backward glance. "Where has the time gone? I wish I could hold my boys on my lap again and brush the hair of my little girls."

I have been in the music business for almost 40 years and I have never touched a drug in my life nor have I ever felt compelled to do so. I never drank alcohol either. Actually, I know many musicians personally who are clean but I have also known quite a few who weren't and have paid the price for their excesses and some of them died at a young age or they are in very poor health. There are some well known rock stars who claim that they never took drugs or alcohol such as Ted Nugent, Frank Zappa, Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull, Gene Simmons from Kiss, Dee Snider from Twisted Sister, and many others. Unfortunately, the connection between drugs and music go way back beyond the beginnings of rock and roll and the jazz music scene in the 30's & 40's was filled with prevalent drug usage, which filtered over into other styles of music.
